1. Booking and Payment
By making a reservation with NRG Hideaways, you agree to these Terms of Service. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- A valid payment method is required to confirm your reservation.
- Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon.
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Prices are listed in US dollars and include applicable cleaning fees. Taxes may be added at checkout.
- You must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 30 or more days before check-in receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made 14 to 29 days before check-in receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable.
- NRG Hideaways reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and is not guaranteed.
- Detailed check-in instructions, including access codes and directions, will be provided before your arrival.
4. Property Rules and Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect. By booking, you agree to:
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy listed for the property.
- Refrain from hosting events or parties unless explicitly approved in writing.
- Follow all posted house rules, including quiet hours, pet policies, and smoking restrictions.
- Leave the property in a reasonable condition upon check-out.
- Report any damage or maintenance issues promptly.
- Comply with all local laws and regulations during your stay.
5. Liability Limitations
NRG Hideaways provides vacation rental properties for short-term lodging. By staying at our properties, you acknowledge that:
- NRG Hideaways is not liable for personal injury, illness, or death resulting from the use of the property or surrounding areas.
- NRG Hideaways is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Outdoor activities in the New River Gorge area carry inherent risks. Guests participate at their own risk.
- NRG Hideaways is not liable for interruptions to utilities or amenities caused by circumstances beyond our control.
6. Damage Policy
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or equipment caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear. If damage is discovered after check-out, NRG Hideaways reserves the right to charge the guest's payment method on file for the cost of repair or replacement. We will provide documentation of any damages and associated costs.
7. Force Majeure
NRG Hideaways is not liable for failure to perform any obligation under these terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, pandemics, or other events of force majeure. In such cases, we will work with guests in good faith to reschedule or provide appropriate credits.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in West Virginia.
9. Changes to These Terms
NRG Hideaways reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
